Well, here we are at the end. Jerome accesses Rothstein's records and uncovers an unexpected connection to Ida. Episode 10, end of the Season 3, and likely, end of the series, Mr. Mercedes. Mr. Mercedes finale recap: ... Last week’s episode ended with Bill Hodges arrested and put in a jail cell right next to Brady Hartsfield. Much like the previous season, Mr Mercedes begins with a rather slow episode, with its glacial pacing saved by an interesting opening and final act, but weighed down by a distinct lack of plot progression. Holly visits Lou ahead of her psych evaluation. And everyone else just kind of gets forgotten. With no Brady in sight, the show lacks that same cutting edge it held so dearly in the first and scrambled to hold onto last year. I’m not going to pull any punches here; I thought this finale was a bit of a train wreck.
