Plus, again, I identified so well with Kate that the plot of Fly Away bothered me because of how I knew it would affect Kate. This is the sequel to "Firefly Lane," my all-time favorite book. As teenagers in the seventies, Tully Hart and Kate Mularky were inseparable. FLY AWAY. Her characters are so well developed and the stories just make you feel so many emotions. That said, the characters had their own emotional journey to go on and Kristin Hannah does a fantastic job of describing that journey. I fell in love with the characters and the story was brilliant.
